As a pioneering pioneer, Eduard "Grandpa" Bauck switched his business in Klein Süstedt back to the bio-dynamic way of farming as early as 1932: long before the terms organic and organic were coined. Today, three Bauck generations live and work in the Lüneburger Heide on three Bauck farms:
Bauckhof Klein Süstedt (biodynamic agriculture since 1932)
Bauckhof Amelinghausen (since 1959 biodynamic agriculture)
Bauckhof Stütensen (since 1969 biodynamic agriculture)
From the agricultural urn idea developed in the 1960s with the entry of five children a variety of Demeter projects. Today we operate on the three Bauckhöfen in addition to agriculture, a social-therapeutic institution, a bakery, a dairy, three farm shops, landscaping, research, a windmill, a plant water treatment plant and run with Waldorf school classes agricultural practices.
In 2002, we were awarded the prize for organic agriculture for this diversity.
Our livestock concept received in 2008 the PRO TIER PROMOTIONAL PRICE FOR FASHION-PROPER USE.
