Whilst the modern trend for weight trainers is to stay lean all year round to impress all our social media followers, the muscle mass still has to be built and building it is a hard grind and at some point, if you want to get bigger, you're going to have to eat big. Often, for beginners, younger trainers and hard gainers, the frustration of being able to consume enough calories to grow, is a very real one and one that can be hard to get right. Solid food is always the number one method to obtain great muscle building fuel, but eating enough to provide you with the calories to grow is more than tough, it's usually impossible and it's always damn insociable (we'd never leave the house if we had to prep 6 meals a day giving us 5000 calories). This is where Advanced Mass comes into it's own and where it can play a massive part of your mass gaining phase. Don't forget, even advanced trainers will need to go through hyper-calorie periods, whereby they need to consume a ton of fuel to get bigger and stronger.

PhD Advanced Mass is PhD's most extreme mass gaining formula ever, it tastes awesome and mixes really well. The ground oats within the product give Advanced Mass a really easy to drink texture as well as providing the delicious oaty taste and give the drink a hint of porridge-style feel.

With an incredible 1140 calories per serving, as well as up to 193g of carbohydrates coming mainly from healthy oats, PhD Advanced Mass also utilises a 4-stage protein blend that includes Micellar Casein, whey protein isolate and whole egg, delivering a huge 50g protein per serving.

PhD Advanced Mass is low in sugar and provides high quality fats in the form of MCT’s from coconut oil and 6g of flaxseed oil per serving. Intense exercise is an important part of any trainers plan, so PhD Nutrition have also included 5g creatine monohydrate, which increases physical performance during explosive, high intensity workouts. Creatine is a must for strength and mass gains.

PhD Advanced Mass is the ultimate mass gaining shake. It tastes delicious, mixes extremely well in a PhD 1000ml shaker cup and provides everything you need to give you the gains you need and the building blocks to achieve your goals, whether short or long term.

sing a high calorie mass gainer is often down to the individual. They can be used successfully twice daily to provide a nutritious and high protein/carb/calorie mass gaining shake and for this reason and due to most people's schedule, mid morning and mid afternoon works well as it fills the gap between breakfast and lunch and then lunch and evening meal. After training is also a great time and opportunity to re-fuel on high calories, especially carbs, to re-fill those empty glycogen stores and help flood the muscle with nutrients to get you growing.

The best way to mix Advanced Mass® is in a blender. The serving size is a whopper (as you'd expect with all that nutrition) so you need to add 2 scoops to 500-600ml fo water and blend. Then add the third scoop to the mix and blend again. You can shake it in a PhD shaker with the same fill levels, but it's tougher and may get a bit messy and you don't want to lose any gains by spilling powder on the bench or floor.
