Do not confuse it with pasta with squid: squid is a form of pasta also known as half paccheri. The name comes from the squid rings, of which it reproduces the shape. It may be for this association of ideas, but the squid with pea flour seasoned with a squid sauce is a surprising taste experience. Pasta NATURA squid is characterized by the rough and greedy surface of sauce, as well as by the perfect seal in cooking. Tasted al dente, squid has a completely different flavor. 

The good of squid with organic pea flour

Consistence and flavor, these are the properties that you will fall in love with while savoring the squid, the pasta with organic pea flour PASTA NATURA. To make it we used only organic pea flour and water, so our pasta is perfect to meet the needs of different diets: gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. The taste of this pasta is pleasant, you can feel the taste and scent of peas, but not in an intrusive way, so as to accompany the seasoning with which you want to taste it, whether it is a drizzle of oil or a more full-bodied sauce.

The nutritional properties of organic pea flour

Pea flour is rich in carbohydrates, proteins of medium biological value, low in starches and rich in fiber. The concentration of mineral salts is good, especially for potassium, phosphorus and iron. It is easily digestible, indicated for daily feeding.  It is a product with good nutritional value that can be transformed into a complete meal based on the condiments you choose to use to season it. It is particularly suitable for those who practice sports and for children in the growth phase.

Tips at the table

As already mentioned, squid, by association of ideas, resembles fish. We at PASTA NATURA have made squid pasta with pea flour because this legume goes very well with fish. Our advice is to experiment with recipes of this type. Make a light seasoning based on fresh cherry tomatoes and swordfish, the dish will be fresh, tasty and irresistible. For the winter version replace swordfish with cod and you will get an equally satisfying, but more substantial and nutritious dish. Pea squid also goes well with other legumes, cheeses and meat, indulge yourself in the kitchen!
