Proteinella is a hazelnut protein cream with beneficial nutrients - whey protein, fiber and vitamins. It contains only 6.6 grams of sugar per 100 grams and has no added sugars. Maltitol, which is an alcoholic sugar, is used as a sweetener - its caloric value is approximately 70% lower than that of normal sugar. It also has about 50% lower glycemic index than sucrose (regular sugar).
