What is A Vogel Bambu?
A.Vogel Bambu Coffee Substitute is a 100% natural coffee alternative. The recipe was created by Alfred Vogel more than fifty years ago and contains organic chicory, Turkish figs, malted Barley, wheat, and Greek acorns.
Why should I drink a coffee alternative?
The acidity of coffee is often associated with digestive discomfort, Heartburn & Indigestion, while the high traces of caffeine are believed to increase insulin, which in-turn increases inflammation and affects your responses to Stress.
Inflated urination of essential Minerals such as Magnesium, Calcium and Potassium have also been noted in avid coffee drinkers - a shortcoming in electrolytes may lead to severe systemic issues.
Why is chicory a suitable alternative to coffee?
Like coffee beans, the chicory root can be roasted, ground and brewed. And not only is chicory caffeine-free (unlike coffee) but it is also a rich source of inulin; a soluble dietary fibre that may support Digestion & Gut Health.
