Orders received on Friday by 7pm & Saturday by 1pm will be delivered on Monday. Orders received on a Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.

Orders totaling less than €50 will incur a €5 courier charge. This applies only to deliveries to Malta & Gozo.

Courier does not work on Public Holidays.

The benefits of carrageen were well known to our Irish ancestors, who harvested it for centuries, the use of Irish Moss in treating respiratory problems was first described in Ireland in 1810.

Sea moss, commonly known as Carrageen Moss/ Irish Moss and scientifically known as Chondrus crispus is a red alga which is found in the pristine waters on the West coast of Ireland.

The healthful properties of Irish moss include:  

  • Rich in iodine.
  • Contains B vitamins.
  • A source of essential amino acids.
  • A natural source of omega-3 fatty acids.
  • Contains essential minerals (calcium, iron, iodine, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, and fluoride).
