Folic Acid Oral Spray is an essential B vitamin (B9) that is essential during conception and pregnancy but has many other health benefits.
Scientifically formulated to deliver methylfolate, the most active form of folic acid, directly into the bloodstream, bypassing primary processing of the gut.
The tiny droplets within the spray absorb quickly into the buccal membrane of the inner cheek, providing fast nutrient uptake.
The dosage of this oral spray is customisable to support the recommended daily uptake of this essential pregnancy vitamin during conception, pregnancy and most importantly, the foetal development stages.
For use during conception or pregnancy, use 4 sprays (400μg) daily. For regular use for adults, we recommend 2 sprays (200μg) daily.
Importance of Folic Acid
Folic Acid, or Folate is an essential vitamin during conception and pregnancy contributing to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy, helping reduce the risk of neural tube defects in the developing foetus.

Active Methylfolate - Quatrefolic®
Traditional folic acid supplements and food folate are not biologically active and need to be converted via a multi-step process before they can be metabolised by the body. Our Folic Acid Oral Spray uses Quatrefolic® a form of methylfolate in its most active form so it can be utilised easily by the body.
How to use
Initial use: press the pump 3 times to get the liquid flowing.
Shake well before every use. Carefully spray into your mouth, ideally onto the inside of your cheek, and hold for a few seconds.
Replace the cap after use.
Dosage
Adults regular use: 2 sprays daily, taken together or separately. 2 sprays contain 200μg of methylfolate.
Women trying for a baby or pregnant* : 4 sprays daily, taken together or separately. 4 sprays contain 400μg of methylfolate.
Does not need to be taken with food or water, can be taken at any time of the day and combined with our other oral sprays.
*Women who are pregnant, trying for a baby or could get pregnant are recommended to take a 400μg folic acid supplement daily until at least the 12th week of pregnancy.
Storage
Once opened, use within 6 months.
Store at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Warnings
Do not exceed recommended dosage – excessive consumption may produce laxative effects.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle.
