Orders received on Friday by 7pm & Saturday by 1pm will be delivered on Monday. Orders received on a Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.

Orders totaling less than €50 will incur a €6 courier charge. This applies only to deliveries to Malta & Gozo.

Courier does not work on Public Holidays.

ALCE NERO QUINOA REAL 400G

Quinoa Real is made with quinoa (botanical name Chenopodium quinoa) an annual herbaceous plant from the Chenopodiaceae family, such as spinach or beetroot.

This grain has a very important history, revered by the Incas as a sacred plant for over 5,000 years and cultivated in the highlands of the Andes at altitudes between 3800 and 4200 meters, still is the staple food of the Andean populations

This food has been in recent years also rediscovered by the western world as it boasts important nutritional properties and is naturally gluten-free.

The quinoa root is very deep (even 180 cm) and branched, and gives the plant both good stability and excellent resistance to drought.

Alce Nero has chosen Quinoa real for its users as it is considered the most valuable of all types.

Quinoa Real Alce Nero is grown in the altitudes of Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia, at a height of over 3,600 meters, with methods similar to those used by the Incas. The altitude of the fields, the wisdom of Bolivian farmers and the careful controls throughout the supply chain make Quinoa Real Alce Nero a food of the highest quality.
