OATLY ORGANIC OAT DRINK
This product is what Oatly is all about. Organic oats from the Swedish countryside, pure water and a little salt. That’s it. Made fresh to be stored chilled.
And how do you use it? Pretty much exactly how you would use milk. As a thirst quencher in between meals, or on your morning bowl of cereal, or perhaps in your oatmeal for double oat power. And if that is not enough, may we suggest about 2 trillion other uses in your daily cooking and baking. Just swap milk for organic oat drink in any recipe and you’ll find that it is not only healthy* but it tastes amazing as well.
For starters, this product is made entirely on 100% organic Swedish oats that are grown in clean soil and spend the summer getting rained on to grow strong in the never ending Nordic sun. It’s vegan approved, contains no added sugar whatsoever and is full of that big scientific word betaglucans* which are great for your heart.
All of our organic oat drinks are not currently enriched with calcium and vitamins for the simple reason that we are not allowed to if we want to label the product organic. Only milk companies are allowed to enrich an organic product and still call it organic because they have special rules. We agree with you, that’s not really fair.
The liquid oats in this particular product are produced in Landskrona, Sweden and then sent to the north of Germany for packaging. The reason for this is that we are a very small company that doesn’t have the possibility to own all of our own packaging facilities. When we look for partners that can handle our packaging needs, the most important factor is that we can guarantee a safe product. Since our products contain no milk or soy, we haven’t been able to find a local packaging facility in Sweden that is able to match our high standards due to the difficulty involved with handling the packaging of products completely void of milk and soy. Our partner in Germany on the other hand does so brilliantly
Betaglucans are good for the heart. As a part of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle, they contribute to maintaining normal cholesterol levels in your blood. One 250 ml glass of Oatly provides a third (1 g) of the daily requirement of betaglucan.
