Kannis™ Natural Adult Chicken Large breed is a hypoallergenic food formulated to provide all the daily nutritional requirements for large breed adult dogs.

Large breed dogs have unique nutritional needs. They have big bones and muscles to maintain and require different protein and fat levels. Large dogs also have considerable appetites and require highly digestible nutrition to increase stamina and reduce stool volume. Our Natural Adult Chicken Large Breed - Chicken & Rice formula has adjusted protein-to- fat ratio, which helps to support effective body maintenance. It also contains glucosamine and chondroitin to promote healthy joints and cartilage and regulated fat levels to prevent excessive weight gain.

NO GMO (No Genetically Modified Ingredients added). We use only quality ingredients to provide optimal, balanced levels of protein, fat and other nutrients. We never use corn, soya, wheat, gluten, tallow or dairy. The modern process of extrusion and the low content of moisture in the product reduces the need for unnecessary preservatives.

Why First Ingredient matters most?

Food Standard Legislation requires dog food manufactures to list the ingredients in order of predominance by weight. Fresh Chicken as the primary ingredient contains water which contributes up to 65% of the weight of fresh chicken or lamb. After water is removed during processing, fresh chicken or lamb is no longer the first ingredient.

The difference is mostly water between Fresh Chicken and Chicken Meal. Chicken meal as the main ingredient in Kannis dog Foods with 3 times more chicken meat protein in every bag !

Naturally Preserved

The moment you open your bag, all fats or oils come in contact with oxygen. This makes the pet food loose nutrition and flavor.

To preserve the freshness of our products we use a special blend of Vitamin C and mixed Tocopherols (natural Vitamin E) that is added to each Kannis formula. All our products are free from Artificial Flavors, colorings and preservatives.

The difference between “Chicken Meal” and Fresh Chicken is mostly water! In fact, wet chicken contributes a very small percentage of the total protein in finished product. Chicken meal is typically the primary ingredient in Kannis dog foods, with three times more real chicken meat protein in every bag!
