Creamy and superbly flavorful baba ganoush is an eggplant-based classic Middle Eastern dip, usually served as an appetizer with some traditional bread like pita (and it’s also wonderful paired with Indian nan bread). The dip is made with another middle eastern classic ingredient, tahini, a velvety toasted hulled and ground sesame. The combination is a mix of the smoky intensity of the eggplant with the velvety texture of the tahini, for a marriage made in culinary heaven.
This artisanal baba ganoush by Esti is not only delicious, it is also wonderfully all-natural, just a blend of fine ingredients, without any additives or preservatives. Roasted eggplant and florina red peppers are blended with tahini, sea salt and garlic, for that rich, complex Middle Eastern flavor that really shines through.
