Orders totaling less than €50 will incur a €5 courier charge. This applies only to deliveries to Malta & Gozo.

Brown Lentils are the most common variety of lentil. Because of the high protein content, they are a staple in vegan and vegetarian diets. Brown lentils are also packed with vitamins, minerals and a lot of fibres. The ratio of low carbohydrates, high protein and fibres content makes them a diabetic diet-friendly food. Lentil is easy to digest, gluten-free food and does not cause stomach upsets vs beans, although both are part of the legume group.
Recommended use: Brown lentils are very easy-to-cook, need about 30 minutes. It has a mild nutty and earthy taste as well as the ability to keep the texture after being cooked. They can be prepared as a healthy main dish, in a tasty salad with vegetables or as an easy side dish.
