The Biotona Maca 100% Raw Powder comes from the roots of Lepidium meyenii , a very resistant plant that grows high in the Peruvian Andes, on barren, rocky ground under harsh weather conditions. Biotona Maca is obtained fromorganically produced Maca roots , which are harvested by hand after a growth period of 8 months. After the roots have dried, they are cleaned and, after selection, dehydrated and ground to powder. Maca is in its unique composition of several phytovital substances .
